Pulsar Optics entered the market in 1995, with the launch of wooden binoculars. Since then, they have become a premium manufacturer, designing products for hunting, law enforcement, personal security, and search & rescue operations. Pulsar designs high-quality optics, software, and features available on the market, one of them being Digex C50 digital riflescope.
Stream Vision 2
Stream Vision 2 is a free mobile application available for Android and iOS smartphones. You can connect your device to the app through Wi-Fi. This allows the user to access device settings, media files, and firmware updates. It is a great way to elevate your user experience with many additional features. Now, in February 2022, Pulsar has released the new version of the firmware, which also solves the issues some users have been experiencing with the Digex C50 digital riflescope (the riflescope not turning on and the battery self-discharging).
Before installing the new firmware update, make sure the device is charged. Check if the external battery of the device is charged at least 30% – two or more LEDs should be on. If not, charge it by using a charging station, power bank, or charger. Then, try turning the device on again by long-pressing the ‘ON’ button for more than 15 seconds. When the device turns on, check if the internal battery is charged. Charge if needed.
Release of the Digex C50 Firmware
New versions of the Stream Vision application will be available in the AppStore and Google Play Market. Before installing the new firmware on your device, Pulsar also advises updating the Stream Vision 2 app on your iPhone or Android smartphone to the latest version and making sure the device is charged.
The new firmware release 1.01.002 for Digex C50 is available for download, after fixing the bugs that were found in the previous, 1.01.001 update. The graphic interface has been improved, the screen is no longer freezing, the battery is no longer self-discharging, and the scope itself is no longer arbitrarily shutting down. Pulsar also added other minor fixes and performance improvements.
