I visited Aimpoint’s booth at Shot Show 2019 to find out which products are going to be the new attention grabbers. Visitors could try themselves at a dynamical virtual hunting game – they had to enter a raised, enclosed space and don virtual glasses. Then, they positioned themselves in front of the screen and were given a rifle stock with an Aimpoint Micro red dot sight. It was fun both to play and watch others play.
They announced a release of two major new products:
- ACRO P-1, an enclosed reflex red dot sight. More about it can be read here.
- CompM5s, a small, extremely robust (battle-ready) tube red dot sight featuring a 2 MOA dot and 10 illumination intensity levels. This is now one of the smallest models in the Aimpoint Comp series.
