Leica’s new TRINOVID (7×40, 8×40, 10×40)
Much is expected of Leica‘s each new product introduction – For a company as renowned as Leica, launching something uninteresting is out of option. To satisfy their target audience, Leica has to be innovative and ingenious. What have they come up with this time?
The TRINOVID series is very popular among Leica fans. These compact, ergonomical binoculars with great optical performance have often been used by hunters, birdwatchers, hikers and wildlife enthusiasts. Leica thought it was time for an expansion – on 28th August 2017, they introduced three new models to satisfy even more demands: 7×40, 8×40 and 10×40. These will be ready for shipment on 18th September 2017.
What is so great about the new TRINOVID binoculars?
Newly-introduced TRINOVID binoculars are slim, elegant and lightweight, so they can be easily carried around. They boast an impressive field of view of 150 m at 7x magnification. Leica combined classic look with robust aluminum housing, achieving an appealing design that is sure to attract attention. They’ve used some of the best coatings available to achieve maximum light transmission, rich contrasts and optical clarity. Below, you can see the specifications of each of the three models.

TRINOVID 7×35, 8×40 and 10×40 are available in three versions: (rubber armored, black; leathered, black; leathered, silver). The prices range from 1250 € (standard, rubber armored black 7×35 model) to 1600 € (leathered, silver 10×40 model).
